3rd on the left Hotelschool Lausanne

After her studies and havng finished the hotelschool in Lausanne and several stages in different restaurants and hotels , Ingrid decided to move .

She travelled on a sailing yacht around the world as a Chef for a year but decided she wanted to specialise in Japanese food Sushi

After an intensive training to become a sushi chef (with Sushi Master Oshima,  in Japan and in Hotel OKURA , first Sushi Master to obtain a Michelin Star )she opended her first restaurant in internationale “cuisine du monde” Restaurant “Intermezzo” in Valbonne. then she moved to the “Marina Bai des Anges ” with her sushi take away in Villeneuve Loubet.

The idea of given “Sushi lessons” came there as there was a demand of the chefs of the boats to cater for sushi on the yachts. In 2000 Ingrid started the training of chefs for sushi on yachts.

In march 2007 she opened her new “École de Sushi” in Antibes in the Rue James Close in the old town and in 2013 she moved the sushi school to Villeneuve Loubet

There she gives sushi workshops for everyone who enjoys sushi and like to learn how to make sushi.
It is not difficult and a lot less expensive to make it yourself . You will learn about making sushi rice , sushi maki ( the sushi rolls) and sushi nigiri ( the rice balls with the fish toppings) about Sashimi ( the slices of delicious and tender raw fish )and how to present the sushi .
